This can be cut away to your liking to create something cheeky, or else why not try the cut away option and add ribbon detail? You will need:
0.8m 4-way stretch such as lycra, dance mesh, or cotton jersey
10cm cotton or cotton blend jersey to match outer fabric (for gusset)
1m x 6mm swimwear/underwear elastic
Optional for lacing:
3mm and 2.5mm satin ribbon to match
Sewing thread to match.
Overlocker thread to match
